What’s in the Sea
An educational activity that introduces guests to the fascinating marine life found along Langkawi’s coastline.

Each week, as the tide whispers secrets to the shore, we gather by the water’s edge—not to swim, but to discover. The ocean has stories to tell, and “What’s in the Sea?” is your invitation to listen closely.
“What’s in the Sea?” invites guests—especially curious young explorers—to discover the fascinating life found along the resort’s shoreline.
During this interactive session, our team gently draws in the protective barrier net that surrounds the swimming area. This net acts like a soft curtain in the sea, keeping box jellyfish away while allowing guests to enjoy the water with peace of mind.
As the net is brought in, tiny marine creatures that drift nearby often appear—small fish, curious crabs, shells, and other coastal surprises. Guests gather around to observe them up close, learning about their habits and the delicate balance of life beneath the waves.
Children can see, touch, and ask questions, turning a simple moment by the sea into a small adventure of discovery. Once everyone has had a chance to observe them, each creature is gently returned to the ocean where it belongs.
A favourite among families, this activity brings the ocean a little closer—revealing the quiet wonders that live just beneath the surface.
